On July 5, 2023, Enel X Way and Saba Italia SpA, one of the leading operators specialized in managing public parking facilities, have initiated a collaboration in Italy to offer new charging opportunities for electric vehicle drivers. They have introduced 51 charging infrastructures in 17 parking lots managed by SABA Italia across the country. The solutions implemented by Enel's mobility-focused company include Waybox, home charging stations with a power of 7.4 kW in alternating current. Three charging stations have been installed in each of the participating SABA Italia parking lots, which are already active and can be conveniently booked by users through the Enel X Way app, allowing them to recharge their vehicles quickly and efficiently with a consumption-based tariff.

The collaboration between Enel X Way and Saba Italia Spa is part of the commitment to further facilitate the experience of electric vehicle drivers by providing them with additional charging opportunities in strategic locations throughout Italy. By doing so, it contributes to the development of a more sustainable mobility model that enhances the livability of cities.
